Any way I'll be subscribing to your feeds and even I achievement you access persistently quickly. I didn't install any new hardware, the system is the same as when I first bought it. You can disable it by right-clicking on the volume icon in the taskbar, choosing Recording Devices and then disabling the S/PDIF In or any other Line In port. Your simple solution worked for me.

Malwarebytes (trial ed.). INSTANTLY cut off the crackling/popping. Check for any patterns for errors, especially Critical errors. Disable Cpu Throttling I tried removing the Win-7 HD audio driver and installing the recommended Realtek driver for Win-7 but that didn't fix the problem.
